Silence

I don’t know where to begin so I never start. For more than 9 months, I have been silent. It makes no sense, even to me. So much has happened in my life… so much has changed. Yet, for some reason the words would not come… still won’t come. These are merely the ramblings of a girl grasping for something to say.

Is there something on my mind?

Yes, but I cannot understand it.

Does my heart wish to speak?

Yes, but it is hushed in its plea. Time has given nothing but empty pages.
